[- Gauntlet Jumps -]

Guantlet jumping is a team trick, it requires two people to perform. You may want to catch a friend and join one of the Jump Servers on the Tricking Servers page.

The basis of guantlet jumping is the fact that when you are hit by someone wielding the guantlet you are pushed back a good bit. Trickjumpers use this property to their advantage by having someone using the gauntlet face into the air, and then they will jump off of that person and be propelled much higher, faster, and farther than on a normal jump. A quaded gauntlet jump is fun for the whole family!

You can see two examples of guantlet jumping in Promo4 (look at the bottom of the page that loads) from OverDrivePC.

First example was a quaded Gauntlet Jump being used by Burd3n and Nightmare to cross to the railgun platform on q3dm17 without the use of an acceleration pad.

Second example was a normal Gauntlet Jump being used by Purgatory and Sinister to cross an extemely wide gap in the map "Industrial Experience" after a rocket jump was used to gather speed.
