The BFG is certainly a fun weapon, it's not used much in trickjumping however. If you have god mode on or a battle suit, you can really get some speed with the bfg.
This demo is for fun mostly, it shows how to get amazing speed on the map grid. So fast that the ground looks like it is going backwards (think of car's tires in a movie, and how they look like they are turning backwards when the car gets going fast...)
